Glasgow

  Edinburgh might be your first choice when visiting Scotland's cities but don't rule out Glasgow- it's bigger and in some ways better cousin!

 I was told that the people in Glasgow would welcome you to your home if you were in need of a place to stay, even as a stranger and the people in Edinburgh would be more cautious. I found the people in Edinburgh very friendly. The people in Glasgow were nice too.

 I prefer the open space of the Edinburgh area.
I tasted Irn Bru in Glasgow. A young man and his friends were so excited to know what I thought. It was a good orange flavored non alcoholic drink.
It has great theater and interesting dining, but not the charm of Edinburgh. Lots of interesting places around it. We went to the Barrows. That was fun.
